Ace Mitch:
| Ace Mitch Biography |
“Laying in the hospital bed, and experiencing what I did, I feel that I’m here for a reason”, says Ace Mitch while reflecting back on a situation that nearly took his life in the fall of 2004. His last single and certified hustla’s anthem “Work” catapulted him to success in the latter part of 2009. “I made my song “Work” for everyone that has ever worked a day in their life, and are passionate about what they do.” The heavy beat and the strong delivery of the single make it an anthem in the Dallas/Fort Worth club scene. From the passing of his father at 13, nearly losing his best friend and right hand man (Lu Sloan) from being shot 5 times and surviving, to being laid in a hospital bed himself in a coma for 5 days with pneumonia, making it through things is nothing new to Ace. “Waking up out of that coma with a tube down my throat and seeing my mother cry changed my life”. “I realized that my life could be over at any minute so I needed to go out and live my life to the fullest”. After creating a buzz with his crew (DBF GANG) and their “Straight Drop Mixtape”, released summer of 09, Ace Mitch grew an even stronger intensity for his music and continued to stay in the studio working. Eventually, Ace Mitch came up with the new hit single “Work”. From the moment that it was created it was known that this song would pose to be very impactful for his career. “Linking up with DJ ASAP changed everything for me truthfully”. “That’s when everything took off and I was in there.” The debut solo mixtape from Ace Mitch “Who Is Ace Mitch?” released with a superb amount of downloads. “Who Is Ace Mitch?” the video was also recently voted The Fushion Magazine 2010 Video of the Year. “I want my music to make an impact on hip hop and not just come and go. I’m in this to achieve hip hop greatness and to teach people that anything is possible as long as u go out and get it for yourself, say Ace Mitch, “WORK”!!!! This past summer 2010, Ace Mitch once again faced a near death tragedy ending in brain surgery. After several months of therapy Ace Mitch is now back at it, and better than ever with so much more to live for with an ever growing fan base. April 19, 2011 Ace released his most anticipated single to date “High Rise” featuring Maybach Music’s newly signed R&B artist Suede Royale. Sunday, April 24, 2011 “High Rise”, was featured on Dallas’ #1 Radio Station K104.5 on Street Swag Sunday; “High Rise” will also appear on his upcoming project No Days Off, which will drop summer 2011. This persistent, patient and poised young man has shown that hard work does payoff. Through all of his adversities, he never let it hold him back; it was only the fuel to his fire. With the experience of his last single “Work” behind him and new single “High Rise” hitting the internet and streets the drive and passion is that more relevant the question of “Who” is Ace Mitch is nearing a question of the past. |
